FREE POP3 EMAIL ACCOUNTS auspaytv.com is pleased to announce FREE POP3 EMAIL ACCOUNTS are now available.
auspaytv.com email addresses are just not web based - they can be set up in your email programme (Outlook, Netscape or Eudora). However, if you wish to have a web based account this is also now available. (see below on accessing the web based service)
Your new email address can be used to receive and send emails, regardless of who you use as your ISP. Change your ISP and you can still use the same email address. All emails pass through your ISP, but are not held there.
Your new auspaytv email will have unlimited mail box size enabling attachments to be transmitted without problems, regardless of their size.
However, to prevent abuse of the system any emails viewed that are left on the mail server may be automatically deleted after 30 days - or earlier - if the space used becomes excessive
Also any emails not viewed may be automatically deleted after 60 days - or earlier - if the space used becomes excessive
Our mail server is situated outside of Australia but the service is very fast with no delays and is faster than amost all services within Australia
If you would like an email address you just supply your current email address (a hotmail email address is fine) and your first and second choice for the name you wish to use. (If either are not available one will be allocated). No other details are required although a name would be helpful should you wish to contact us on a future occasion.

PLEASE NOTE
The creation of an email account is not an automatic process - all requests have to be approved and manually created, as a result a delay of up to 12 hours may elapse from your request and the notification of your new email address.
SETTING UP YOUR NEW EMAIL ADDRESS

Accessing your auspaytv.com email accounts using a POP3 mail client is as
follows:
1. POP3 server is mail.auspaytv.com
2. SMTP server is mail.auspaytv.com
3. User name is in user@auspaytv.com format. -
1. POP3 server is mail.auspaytv.com
2. SMTP server is mail.auspaytv.com
3. User name is in user@auspaytv.com format. -
NOTE: You must use the full email address as the user name
If you're using Netscape mail, the user name is in user%auspaytv.com format.
Eudora Users use: user%auspaytv.com@mail.auspaytv.com
4. Password is as allocated.
IMPORTANT: do not lose your password as it encrypted when entered into our mail server and we are unable recover it.
The loss of your password will result in the account being deleted and then a new account with a new password being created. This may result in the loss of any emails held on the mail server at that time.

Due to the ever increasing problem of SPAM and mail server blacklisting, you also must configure authenticated SMTP
*Outlook Express*
To configure authenticated SMTP in Outlook Express:
1. From the Tools menu, select "Accounts..."
2. Highlight your Mail account (it may be called mail.auspaytv.com).
3. Click the "Properties" button on the right side.
4. Choose the "Servers" tab.
5. Check the box next to "My server requires authentication."
6. Click the "Apply" button.
7. Click the "OK" button.
*Netscape Messenger*
To configure authenticated SMTP in Netscape Messenger:
1. From the Edit menu, select "Preferences..."
2. Click the plus (+) icon next to "Mail & Newsgroups."
3. Choose "Mail Servers."
4. In the "Outgoing mail server user name" field enter Username
5. Click the OK button.
*Eudora*
To configure authenticated SMTP in Eudora:
1. From the Tools menu, Select "Options..."
2. Click on the "Sending Mail" icon.
3. Check the box next to "Allow authentication."
4. Click the OK button.
*Microsoft Entourage *
To configure authenticated SMTP in Entourage:
1. From the Tools menu, select "Accounts."
2. Double-click your Mail account (it may be called mail.auspaytv.com).
3. Click on the "Click here for advanced sending options" button.
4. Check the box next to "SMTP server requires authentication."
5. Select the radio button next to "Use same settings as incoming mail server."
6. Click the OK button.
IMPORTANT
The FROM field in Outlook, Netscape, etc. MUST be your full email address of the domain auspaytv.com .

4. Check the box next to "SMTP server requires authentication."

IMPORTANT
The FROM field in Outlook, Netscape, etc. MUST be your full email address of the domain auspaytv.com .
i.e. user@auspaytv.com.
Otherwise, you'll receive a message that you can't relay, meaning you will only
be able to receive emails to your auspaytv.com email address but not send.
WEB EMAIL SERVICE
Your email can now also be accessed via our Web Mail service - ideal for access from work, or on holiday. Also good to download extra large attachments that can sometimes cause problems with some ISP's

You will need to enter your full email address xxx@auspaytv.com and your password: xxxxxx
