The auspaytv site has today been split into two services. 1. The AUSPAYTV INFORMATION SERVICE - This is mostly a site of information a=on service providers and the channels they offer, for ease of understanding extensive use is made of graphics. 2. The AUSPAYTV NEWS SERVICE. The NEWS service is basically a text service, with minimal use of graphics. This has been done to allow speedy access and ease of moving between various news pages.

Hopefully Netscape incompatibilities have been corrected to Pay TV pages. This version of the site is now suitable for Netscape and Explorer version.

Following several requests I have also added, as an option, a method of calling up most of the Pay TV pages as a full screen without the sidebar. This option will also make it easier to print off a hard copy of a particular page.

Each Pay TV page of the site now also has the option of returning to the INDEX page at both the top and bottom of each page.

When returning to the INDEX page from a page set as a full screen, the sidebar will also return. Brief instructions on using this new option are at the bottom of the INDEX page.

Each link to a site, outside my Pay TV site, will now be treated differently as a result of the above changes. If an outside link is accessed on a page opened as a full screen (without the sidebar) from my site, the outside site will appear as a full screen. However, if an outside link is accessed from a page with my Pay TV sidebar still in place, the outside site in MOST cases will appear with my PAY TV sidebar still place and my site will still be open to you.

Welcome to this new site.

WEB SITE HELP
The following part of this page has been developed as a guide to solving problems you may experience with this Web Site and is in the format of questions and answers

 Q. The site text appears to be too large. How do I make the SIDE BAR MENU or one of its web pages fit my screen properly?

A. Alter your browser screen font size. e.g. Internet Explorer 4 - go to View option, go to Fonts, alter size setting - Internet Explorer 5 go to View option, go to Text Size, alter setting. Other browsers also have a similar system of altering your screen font size, with out altering the computers overall font size settings.

 Q. One of the links to another site will not allow me to see their site as a full page, the SIDE BAR MENU is still in place, what can I do to correct this?

A. As far as possible, all links to sites containing more than one page have been tested to avoid this happening. However, one or two site may have been missed or changed by the site owners. Please sent me an email with details so I can correct the site and solve this problem auspaytv@netc.net.au, in the meantime as a temporary fix you can use mouse to block over and highlight the site address, go to the Edit option and copy and press enter. Then go to the side menu bar and go to Home Page, then with the required site address still in memory go to the navigation bar and paste into place and press enter. You should then find the site you wish to view as a full screen.

Q. Sometime when accessing a page on this site I get a white screen with information saying the page I have requested is not available, what can I do.

A. Try again later, if the server supplying the page is very busy, or the NET in general is busy, a page on some occasions may not be found on the first try as a result of a time-out being invoked. This Pay TV site has proved very popular, especially in the first few days of being available, and this has at times, put a heavy of load on it - the server being used is only supposed to be used for mostly private home pages of our local community ISP.

Note: Any suggestions to improve this Web Site will be most welcome.
